A seasoned, pragmatic management consultant and advisor, BluTinuity founder Scott Owens brings more than 34 years of experience in information security program design and risk assessments, business continuity management and disaster recovery planning including tabletop exercises, NIST Cybersecurity and Privacy Frameworks, HIPAA security and privacy compliance, SOC2 audit readiness, CIS controls, risk management, strategic and tactical technology leadership, and complex program/project planning and management. His experience as thought leader and student of organizational structures allows him to quickly assess a business’ operational, technical, and political climate and find opportunities to enhance the resilience and security posture of the organization.
Scott’s goal is to consistently deliver high-quality results for your organization by focusing on risk-measured, personalized solutions that will position your leadership and program teams for success.

noun. A fusion of the color blue, representing God’s grace and mercy, with the word continuity, an uninterrupted connection, succession, or union.
The color blue was chosen as a reminder that this business exists because of God’s grace and mercy, that only through God’s guidance will it achieve its potential, and that only through attention and obedience to God’s Word will it prosper. The scripture passage below from the Book of Numbers in the Old Testament provided insight to this foundation of BluTinuity.
